Etched in Bone Review

5 Stars

I can't believe this was the end of My journey with Meg, Simon, and the rest of the group at Lakeside. I wasn't ready. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to friends. Bishop did a marvelous job at expanding on understanding between humans, The Others, and The Elders, who've drifted into the courtyard to observe, and decide which humans stay and which disappear... for good. It was satisfying seeing certain situations come to an end and viewing the growth that's happened over the course of five book. I wanted to see more with Meg and Simon, but I always do! I adore them. I wouldn't have been upset by an epilogue, but I'll hold out hope that we'll see them again in later books. I don't want to spoil anything, but i was pleased with the conclusion of this story arc
