I'm still digesting everything I read. Wow. What a brilliant, dark, action-packed, tongue-in-cheek roller coaster ride! Smith's take on demons, hell, the Devil and selling your soul is fresh, and horrifying! What would you risk to save the world? It's a question none could answer until they found themselves tested. Pan and Marlow are our main characters but the world is rich with history, interesting minor characters, and secrets. So many secrets. Some of which we've yet to really uncover in this book. It's a hell of a start to a series, pun intended. This is YA horror at it's finest.
